SAINT ETIENNE ANNOUNCE HEADLINE LONDON DATE
HEAVEN – WEDNESDAY 05 OCTOBER 2016
Final London performance of the classic album Foxbase Alpha in its entirety
It’s 25 years since Foxbase Alpha was born and a similar length of time since the fledgling Saint Etienne took their first teetering steps into the live arena. The venue was Heaven in Villiers Arches, London and Bob and Pete, armed with DAT and a smoke machine took to the stage, resplendent in polo neck sweaters and necklaces of candy, their synthesisers perched on ironing boards.
To celebrate this momentous occasion Saint Etienne are returning to Heaven (whipped into shape this time by Sarah Cracknell of course) on Wednesday 5th of October to play a special Foxbase set plus bonus beats hits. The group will be warming up with a show in Athens on October 1st and will round the week out with their last ever UK performance of the full album at Rockaway Beach Festival in Bognor Regis on Saturday October 8th.
Following their sold out gigs in Glasgow and Hebden Bridge, Saint Etienne will be playing the Park Stage at Glastonbury on Sunday June 26th shortly after ELO finish their set on the Pyramid stage. They will also be headlining two festival stages this summer; Indietrax in Ripley Derbyshire on July 30th and the Heavenly Stage at On Blackheath, London on Sunday September 11th.
Tickets for the new London show go on sale 9am Friday May 6th and will be available at www.gigsandtours.com / 0844 811 0051
